Objective: To provide information on a serious issue to visitors including children in a friendly manner.

Product: Magix Touch Multi Touch Kiosk

Brief: Lapp India manufactures cables, connectors & accessories & has been setting standards for the rest of the industry to follow. They were exhibiting in the Indo-German Urban Mela & used visuals & interactions with the Muti Touch Kiosk to create awareness about the theme of “Safe Homes – Safe Cities”. The focus was on how urbanisation leads to a “wired” society & the attendant risk posed by poor quality of building wires. The socio-economic impact of fire was also revealed. This then led to information about the Lapp approach to address this serious issue through their various showcase products including Halogen Free Flame Retardant wires & Fire Survival cables. The interactive medium of instruction was preferred since many of the visitors were children.

Impact: The dual objective of spreading information about a serious issue like fire safety in the home & the need to use proper cabling materials to minimize that as well as showcase the superior products of Lapp in the area were achieved.
