Brief:

One of the fastest growing and hardest to impress demographics in the entertainment segment is children. With the elevated exposure that kids have, it becomes imperative to design entertainment to match their intellect. The internet, thus, has become a go-to for most kids and parents in search of entertainment and games. Making such online content more child driven is Worldoo, an online portal where kids can experience a virtual world where they can play age appropriate games and learn new and exciting things. In their promotional event with Hamleys across four locations, Worldoo used the power of TouchMagix’s Interactive Technology to bring this fantasy world to life. Kids played the Worldoo ‘Home’ game, an Augmented Reality 3D game using the power of TouchMagix’s gesture tracking technology. The aim of the game was for participants to decorate a room displayed on the MotionMagix™ Interactive Wall as aesthetically and creatively as possible. Different objects such as furniture, appliances etc. were placed around the room and the children had to drag and drop them into place using gestures. They could also choose different layouts, wall colors and interiors to create their personalized 3D home.

Once the layout was complete the kids could post the pictures of their creations on the Worldoo Facebook page and solicit ‘likes’ to win. This helped to establish a great offline-online connect. The promotion saw great and enthusiastic participation from kids owing to the interactive content and also ensured high visibility that went beyond the physical space.

Impact: : The event saw great participation because of its engaging content and also proved to be a great branding exercise by establishing an offline-online connect.

TouchMagix with Lions Club of Pune organized a festival to provide entertainment for specially abled children.

TouchMagix, in association with Lions Club of Pune recently organized a festival at Bal Kalyan Sanstha for differently-abled children.

The purpose of this activity was to provide a sense of entertainment as well as achievement to these specially abled children. They played games which they would’ve never been able to play in real life and the best part is that they responded very well to the MotionMagix interactive floor.

 

The activity was well appreciated by various newspapers as well

Brief: The National Institute of Technology at Trichy is one of the premier educational institutions in the country offering Engineering education & Pragyan is their flagship techno-management festival. This year the exhibition invited visitors to “Explore the power of touch”. The MotionMagix Interactive floor allowed visitors to play games like soccer on the floor & have the visuals & sounds react to their movements. The Multi touch displays created a mind-boggling display allowing multiple users to interact with the system simultaneously & get it to perform the tasks set of it.

Impact: The interactive displays fit in remarkably well with the overall attempt of the festival to promote & foster the co-existential relationship between Man & Technology !

Brief: In response to the long standing demands from the community for more aquatic exhibits the Akron Zoo opened a magical exhibit – “Journey to the Reef” featuring 17 aquariums of animals living on or near the reef. One of the most popular features of the exhibit are an interactive area with three kiosks & an interactive media wall where the kids play & learn about life on the reef, the environment & the various species that make the kelp forests, harbours & reefs their home.

Impact: The exhibit is proving to be not only fun but also creating awareness about the environmental challenges facing the life in the oceans.

Brief: The Gandhi Research Foundation in Jalgaon aims to be the premier international center for Gandhian Study, Research & Dialogue. It houses a state-of-the-art Interactive multi-media Museum that includes an Experience Center targeted at the youth. The GRF aim was to attempt “a close encounter between Gandhiji and the visitor, engaging them in an imaginary yet almost-real dialogue without any human interface or intermediary”. This was achieved by utilizing over 20 Interactive exhibits incorporating the latest in gesture & touch technology & creating a hand-on environment that touches & inspires at the same time.

Impact: The primary target audience, the youth, are finding the life & teachings of Gandhiji engaging, appealing & worth following.
