It was their 25th wedding anniversary and for their silver Jubilee, the hosts wanted something that makes the business of sending best wishes as elegant as it can be!
TouchMagix MagixFone was the perfect solution for this event. The seamlessness of MagixFone, which doesn’t ask you to anything more than just send a message through your phone the usual way made it a joy to interact with. The easy setup of MagixFone installation easy. The guests could send Anniversary wishes as phone texts to the couple and they were projected live on a big screen using a projector.
The UI for the message wall was specially designed for the occasion and reflected the theme and décor of the event.
Guests and couple both loved the concept and event was hugely successful. More than 200 people attended the party and an even larger number of messages were shown on the wall.

Impact: The event became more alive when guests could see their best-wishes SMSes on the big screen

Come sport season and most food & beverage outlets gear up to come up with innovative ways to promote their outlet to generate footfalls and increase traffic. With the football season round the corner TouchMagix has come up with a unique package that restaurants and pubs can use to increase guest participation and offer them a lot more than just viewing the match as a part of their promotion strategy. Using the capabilities of the MagixFone™ the restaurant owners can incentivise footfalls at their venue by distributing goodies, discount coupons, vouchers etc. to guests who play the quiz while the game is played. The quiz questions run on the same screen where the game will play and requires no additional displays. To participate the guests simply have to text their answer to the number flashing on the screen and the MagixFone™ sends the gift coupon through a text to the winner. The capabilities of the MagixFone™ allow multiple users to participate in the event at the same time and thus engages a much wider audience in an interactive manner which otherwise would be difficult to achieve.

HSBC annual Day made fun by MotionMagix™ Interactive Floor and quizzes with MagixFone™.

Brief: The company Annual Day is an occasion for employees to take a step away from the day-to-day and the mundane and HSBC gave it’s thousands of employees just that opportunity in simultaneous events spread across multiple locations. Employees visiting each location walked in over a MotionMagix™ Interactive Floor of impressive proportions. On each floor the HSBC logo was playfully interwoven with 4 different “scatter” effects that came alive as people walked across it. Given the size of each floor 3 separate projectors had to be deployed for a truly interactive experience. A key role was played by the templatized content library developed by the TouchMagix™ team. Selecting the scatter effect from the wide range of effects available in our standard selections enabled the design, installation and deployment of the entire floor across all the locations in an incredibly short time span. Completing the interactive experience was a quiz the employees participated in by using their phones using our MagixFone™ technology. Upto 10 Questions played out in rotation and the participants messaged in their responses. The unusual mix of interactive technologies played a key role in engaging the event visitors.

Impact: The Interactive Floors and MagixFone™ based quiz added a special interactive touch to the Annual Day event.

Brief: Google hosted an event at the GroupM office & used a unique combination of interactive technologies to draw members of the audience into a fun-filled interaction with each other. People were invited to “Gift a Beer” to their friends by sending an SMS to the MagixFone system through their own phones that would be publicly displayed. The messages offered a fascinating range of communications with people thanking others for a specific job well done or for more personal reasons. The intended recipients could get a coupon code if they sent an acknowledgement over SMS that would be similarly displayed & the coupon could be redeemed for a free beer. A beer for an sms – a good bargain all around !

Impact: The highly creative approach to getting the audience members to interact with each other was in keeping with the profile of the audience.

Brief: Among the primary charters of the US Consulate in India is to deepen the connection between the people of the two countries. They carry out several activities intended to promote greater understanding of the history, culture and values of USA. One of these events was a day-long celebration of the US Independence Day in one of Mumbai’s major shopping destinations. The event was packed with several fun activities and one that caught everyone’s eye was the US Knowledge Quiz. This was a game show themed Trivia Quiz that came alive as members of the audience phoned in, well sms’ed in, their answers to the questions related to history and culture of US that came up on the screen using the interactive capabilities of the MagixFone. This allowed simultaneous participation of many visitors thus engaging a much larger portion of the audience than would otherwise have been possible. The operating principle being the more the merrier – it is a birthday party after-all !

Impact: The MagixFone enabled much wider audience participation and education via gamification  – a key benefit for an event held in an outside location over a limited period of time.

Brief: As one of the largest automobile makers in the world Volkswagen has always demonstrated an admirable commitment to the environment. Their policies are extensive and often visionary. On the occasion of the World Environment Day they wanted to re-iterate this commitment in the eyes of employees and also to drive up awareness of the various policies and methods. They chose to do this in an engaging game show like format using a combination of the Magix Kiosk & MagixFone. Questions about the environmental policies of Volkswagen appeared on the screen and employees were invited to send in their responses using their phones. The responses were associated with the mobile numbers of employees and tracked through MagixFone. The contest drew such a tremendous response that Volkswagen has decided to run such contests at other locations and around the year. The employee that scores the highest across all of these could be eligible for a grand prize. Policies sometimes get the rap for being dry & un-interesting – not when presented in this manner!

Impact: The interesting approach adopted to drive up awareness of the policies among the many employees was a great success.

Castrol, a market leader in automotive and industrial lubricants recently used MagixFone to conduct Castrol Team Quiz at their events. Each group in the audience could simply SMS the answers for the quiz without any special voting panel setup. Brief: American Idol, United States most watched Television Show, concluded its 10th season in May 2011. A grand party was organized for participants, sponsors and select invitees after the results were announced. The After Party organized on a huge 20,000 sq. feet terrace had the best of decor, cuisine and music. TouchMagix was involved in creating exciting moments for the audience at the party. Our MotionMagix Wall was installed with a giant 103″ LED Screen. We devised an interactive game for AT&T and Motorola, to showcase their latest Motorola Atrix handset. The users would start a game, in which logos of AT&T, American Idol and Motorola had to be collected in a Motorola Atrix Handset. The handset would move sideways as the user moved left or right. The scoreboard on the top of the screen would pick and compare the points collected with the previous game.

Impact: The Interactive Wall was one of the products on display at the American Idol. Using an array of our interactive products, we managed to retain and invite a great footfall for the event during party hours, promoting the sponsors and their message.

MagixFone™: A local social network was created displaying messages from the audience.

Brief: One lounge is one of the premium clubs in Pune with a great visitor list. They organize exclusive events at their facility which are followed by audiences looking for a variety in music, cuisine, ambience and event management. One such occasion was to be graced by World’s number 8 DJ popular amongst club goers. One Lounge expected us to build an interactive solution considering the young footfall targeted. Due to constraint of space, they wanted to keep the solution small yet noticeable. Using our MagixFone, we create a local social network displaying the One Lounge Branding. Users saw a number displayed on the screen, where they were to send SMS using their regular phone to be displayed. Within 1 hour of introduction of this new concept amongst party goers, we had displayed around 100+ messages. As the party went in a full swing, the MagixFone displayed messages in praise of the DJ, his music, the ambience and the event being managed. People posted their message in favor of the next song they would like to hear, working as a cue for the DJ to conclude the party, the party goers way.

Impact: At the end of the party, the MagixFone had displayed 400+ messages creating a unique local social network, without violating sentiments or ethics.
